Very cool although it would be better not to buy ams and rather invest in more a1 minis because your product doesn’t require multi color so ams would be space and money waste
We actually often use the multi-color printing option

Oh man my PTSD from my ender days just flared back up again. I vividly remember that specific sound driving me completely crazy. I even had the same red extruder. Got a prusa after that and never looked back.
The fix for this was nanocoated bimetallic heat break because of the original bad gap between the PTFE tube and the nozzle allowed for a chunk to form and clog over time. Bimetal heartbreak solves it really well never clogged again after that
Hey, my extruder started skipping because my flow rate or extruding speed was too high in comparison with my nozzle temperature. For me, increasing temperature helped, as well as checking the perfect flow rate. I used Orca Slicers integrated flow rate test print.

@@denis2381 calibrating extruder will do nothing if hes tryna push filament out of a hotend that cant handle it and doesnt have enough flow the only way to rlly fix that is either turn the temp up which would cause issues on slower parts of the print or turn the print speed down
@@riotaken true. I mixed something up. Actually I had a similar issue on my geetech and I uploaded a short video for demonstration purpose and I fixed the issue with lower retraction speed and distance. On my fabrikator I fixed skipping with higher Temperature. Now I have a problem calibrating extruder on my fabrikator with the New e3d volcano hotend which I got for 14,35€ with -85% discount lol. The only reason I bought it. The formula provided by klipper doesn't help me to fine tune. However, it's accurate enough now
@@denis2381 yeh klipper can suck ass sometimes
make shure that the bowden tube is pushed all the way to the heat block. when you do that loosen up the fitting push some bowden tube through then tighten it back up again
i had the same issue but what worked for me is that i loosen up that bearing(next to that gear that grips the filament)till it starts going... doesn't hurt to try

Why the piston?
big problem with wedges are they can get under the field perimeter and get the robot stuck, however if you can manually retract the wedges to make it so that they are only deployed when ramming other robots that lessens that game ending chance.
the real reason is barrier
cool robot, it sure would be a shame if we had to fix everything the night during worlds
What ways did these help you this year? Would they be useful for over under?
They are for getting under another robot, when 2 robots are pushing against eachother if you have those wedges you’d get under the other robot(get from wheels off the ground in some cases) giving you a advantage in pushing
Also we have been experimenting with a retractable wedge that goes across the whole back of out bot and it is great because it can hit the tribals right over the middle barrier.
